This course aims to provide you with the basics tools and knowledge that you can apply to your QS role, either from a Contracting or Consultancy background. It will also help you to become a competent Quantity Surveyor and pass your APC final assessment interview with flying colours! This course will run through the basic elements of design economics & cost planning, procurement & tendering Strategies, contract selection, and development of a final account. The specific modules you will take to achieve the aims of the course are MEP Basics, Procurement, Tendering, Substructure, Superstructure and Measurement. These modules will help you understand the importance of understanding your client and their needs throughout a project, from inception to completion. Furthermore, the course is designed to help you adapt your advice to support your client's achievement of these objectives. Each module includes a video, revision guide, revision quiz and worksheet. You will need to fill in the worksheet and send it back to us for review. Once you have completed all six modules, we will send you a CPD completion certificate for the course (20 hours total).
